They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. Recently Scott has been receiving a lot of pictures from a group he trained in Colombia. Many members from the initial group have now started groups of their own. There is a chat on WhatsApp where they continually post pictures of new groups that they have started. We served for many years in Colombia as missionaries. Health reasons brought us back to the USA but it’s not an understatement to say that we left our hearts there. A few years ago, I was questioning why God took us through language school and adapting to culture, etc. only to bring us back to the States. (Read More)

On our recent trip to Asia, I was confronted with the harsh realization of what life looks like for my sisters as they take up their crosses daily and follow Jesus. I listened as they shared their struggles of isolation, avoidance and alienation. I want you to picture how it would feel to wake up each morning with the genuine desire to love God and love others only to be met with hatred as you try to buy fruits and vegetables for your family at the market. I love how the Lord draws us to Himself as we read and study His Word.
